A Real Pick Me Up
Monday, March 1, 2010 at 3:06PM The Feb '10 Daring Baker challenge was to make Tiramisu from scratch. Mascarpone and savoiardi biscuits included!
I had a lot of fun with this challenge and made three different flavoured Tiramisu, Baileys, Frangelico and Lavender with Earl Grey tea, and used three different recipes, one of them being the DB challenge recipe.
I think the one I had the most fun with was my Blue Rinse Tiramisu, named that way because when I thought of the combination of lavender with Earl Grey tea, old ladies with blue hair came to mind!
I loved all three flavours and would make each of them again.
