52 weeks of photos
I'm joining My Four Hens and many others around the web in a photography project, 52 weeks of photos. That is, 1 photo a week for 52 weeks.
Sounds easy but I think this will prove to be quit a challenge for me.
Firstly, I'm not great at follow-through, secondly, I let laziness or being busy dictate my life a bit too much.
Why I want to do this is to get me out of my photography rut. It's easy to take photos in the comfort of your own home so food photography is well suited for my lazy habits, and what I want to do is force myself to take photos of what's outside my front door.
Each week a theme is set which I think will help me focus on a weekly photo goal. It can be overwhelming when you step outside to take a pic, there are just endless things waiting to be the subject of your photo, so having a goal, I hope, will help me stick with this.
Most of all, I think this will be fun. I'm still learning my way around Lightroom so I think it's going to be fun playing with grades and different presets, not something I get to do a lot with my food pics. I also think it's going to be great to look back at all of these photos at the end of the year and have a pic to remind me of every week of 2012.
Feel free to join in on this photography adventure either by taking on this project yourself, or by enjoying the photos that are being taken, you can find them all on this flickr group.
