What the Fruitcake?!

Adding cold grated butter to the flour mixture

Butter rubbed in until it resembles breadcrumbs

Lightly kneeded to form a soft but unsticky dough

Cutting out the scones

Brushed with buttermilk then dusted with flour before baking

Baked until golden
